Perfect conditions in Taupo this year a far cry from the last two years when we got snowed in with the desert road closed.
This year the weather was fine with magnificent frosts in the early morning, ensuring we didn't overheat on our Sunday morning jog along the Waikato river.
Good results too for Olympic with some good high placings and a reasonable number of competitors leading to a 3rd placing for the club in the teams trophy. Yes that is third best club in the North Island!!! Wahooo!!
Even better than that was a silver medal for Brendon Blacklaws in the men 16 and under age grade.
