Club Cross Country Championships, Bryant's Farm, Ohariu Valley Saturday, 29 June 2002

Rain all day. Mud. Streams full to capacity. Eight crossings per lap (two more than last year). Uncountable puddles (or was it all just one big puddle?). Many submarine impressions (though no lost shoes this year!). Good diving finishes from each of the senior men. What a day! Congratulations to this year’s club champions.

This race was a sealed handicap. The finisher who beats their handicap time by the most is the handicap winner. (Note: The winner of each grade is not eligible for the sealed handicap award. Handicap winners’ names are in bold.)

Because of the conditions nobody beat their handicap times, though in the case of the last race (SM/MM) some of the, er, more mature members of the club didn't help by stopping for a water fight at the last stream crossing.
