Event results
Conditions were still cool with a blustery southerly but thankfully the storm from the last few days had abated. Numbers for the event were down a bit on recent years but the teams competition was close as usual.
Millie Jenkins was the quickest round a single lap and enjoyed it so much she went around for another one (which still looked pretty quick). Miles Coverdale took out the walking section after Sheryne took the wrong route and went down the steps just before the finish (not very gentlemanly of him but I suppose he had his team to consider). Jono Leach was fastest around two laps and Martin McCrudden quickest on the three.
When the points were tallied it was Martin's team that came out on top with 23, followed by Sean's team on 27 and Jono's team on 28 (on countback with Steve Walker's team who had the same number of points but had the lowest placed runner).
Unfortunately we didn't have timekeepers on the day so all the times are down as zero. If anyone timed themselves and would like their time recorded here, email me at handles.cloud@me.com and I will put it up for you.
