Twilight 5k Series - Race 2, Wellington Waterfront Tuesday, 9 December 2003

Another good night for racing with a light southerly assisting on the return journey each lap. This lead to some more good times including a further PB for the winning walker, Michael Lane, shaving 13 seconds off last weeks time. He will crack that 27 minutes before the end of the series!

The runners were lead by six masters runners with Vaughan New controlling the front for most of the race and coming home in a time of 16:39.

The first woman home was Michelle Allison in 18:36.

It would seem that everyone is getting used to this tight technical course, there are certainly good times to be had on it!!
