Mizuno – Lifestyle Sports Twilight 5km Series 2001/2, Queens Wharf Tuesday, 26 February 2002

Just when you thought we weren't going to have nice weather on a run this summer, we got today's stunner! Perfect weather with a gentle southerly to push everyone along on the home straight.

Chris Speakman is warming up for his first year as a veteran with his second fun run win in just over a week, and Michele Allison repeated last race's effort by being first woman home. For the fourth time in a row, Michael Lane was the first walker.

Of the 19 left in the running, it was one of our regular walkers, David Butler, who rode the Mountain Bike spot prize from Burke's Cycles home. Congratulations David!

Olympic Harriers are proud to stage this series for you and ask you that wherever possible you support the sponsors (Mizuno, Lifestyle Sports, Gu Fast Food For Athletes, Natures Kiss, Powerade, Chicago Sports Bar and Cafe) who support the series. Thank you for taking part and we hope to see you again for next summer’s series starting in November.

Note sorting by time is alphabetic, not time based (so 1:00:00 comes after 0:50:00 because 1 comes after 0, but before 50:00 because 1 comes before 5).
