Event results
Many of us are familiar with this year's NZXC course - the same as is used every year for the NIXC champs. However distances are the full national champs distances rather than the NIXC under-distances.
The day was cool but clear and fast underfoot (as usual). Melissa Bray won a silver medal in the W50-54, Joe Fowler a bronze in the M50-54, and Keith Chapman a silver in the M70-74. Toby Gualter was 4th in the senior men - gaining a place in the last kilometre - and Deb Lynch worked her way up the field in the SW race to finish 2nd Wellingtonian and 9th overall.
