Shaw Baton - under 10s individual race, Battle Hill Saturday, 27 April 2019

The harrier season kicked off with the traditional Shaw Baton Relay at Battle Hill Farm Forest Park Park, a 4×2km relay for the U12s and above, and a short scratch (non-relay) race for the U10s. The races are held on a traditional cross country course with rough terrain, hurdles, hills and water
While the conditions were good underfoot, we had a strong northerly blowing this year, which resulted in generally slower times than we saw last year (which was almost windless).
