Meet at the lower Otari carpark, off Churchill Drive
Meet at the clubrooms at 1:45pm, ready for a run or walk at 2pm.
Introduction Day for new and returning members. Join us for a run and a coffee/beer afterwards. We will start off with some basic running drills as a warm up. After that, we will split into groups for the pack run. We are planning on having around four groups depending on numbers:
- walkers
- shorter run for new runners (time dependent on what people are comfortable with)
- medium pace / less hills (about 45 mins)
- fast pace / more hills (60 mins+)
We are also hoping to have our uniforms available for purchase.
Meet at the clubrooms at 1:45 for a 2pm departure.
Multisport event - kayak, mountain bike and mountain run. Do an individual leg, a duathlon or the full event individually or as a team.
Our first club races for the season - the Maiden and Perston. There will be four races: two for the younger kids (700m and 1km), the Maiden (2km cross country for those who have never won a race before) and the Perston Memorial (2km cross country - same course as the Maiden, but for those who have won a race before). The course will be the same as last year's, at Grenada North Park.
The Maiden and Perston Memorial races are sealed handicap - the club handicapper has predictions of everyone's times, and the handicap winners are those who beat their handicap times by the greatest margins.
The first trophies of the year are up for grabs too - awarded to both race winners and handicap winners.
And one other thing - these races serve as trials for the Shaw Baton interclub relays held at Battle Hill later in April.

You shouldn't be doing this event because it's on at the same time as our club races, the Maiden and Perston.
Pack runs and walks from the clubrooms. Meet at 1:45 for notices; packs leave around 2pm.
