Hi All Olympic Members,

  Book in Saturday 10th May for our 1st Social event of the year.  It is at the Clubhouse which you will know was originally a small cruise liner which was beached in Johnsonville when the waters receeded in the 60's (what didn't happen in the 60's?) and was converted to a clubhouse.  Much of the ship has long gone as the clubhouse was modified except for the 7ft anchor still attached to the rear of the building, and the ships engine which still takes most of the space up in our store room.

  Our social event is held on the anniversary date of the Hawaiian Cruise that was terminated at Johnsonville and we will be painstakingly recreating the atmosphere and feel of the evening activities as would have been enjoyed by the cruise patrons.

  See attached poster for details.  $15.00 includes a signed piece of cake and all the beer you can bring(?). Email myself - Captain Ged to reserve tickets.
