Victoria University of Wellington Athletics Club and Victoria University Recreation are running our on-campus relay (fun run) at the university on Friday the 16th of October at 6.00PM.

We'd like to invite you to pull together a team of four runners to take on the relay! Each leg is a 650m dash down Kelburn Parade, up past the Hunter and Student Union buildings, finishing up in the Tim Beaglehole Courtyard.

This year, teams have a choice of running in the competitive grade (two 650m laps per runner) or the social grade (one 650m lap per runner).

Registrations are $20 per team and all proceeds will be donated to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.

Prizes are awarded for fastest legs and best dressed, so get your creative hats on.

This is an annual handicap race in Titahi Bay and is an occasion to celebrate the end of the Harrier season and to commemorate Bernie Portenski. The race starts at 2:05pm on the beach in front of the surf club at Titahi Bay.

The race distance is 9.1km but with the mixed terrain (road, beach, grass) and the hill in the second half.
