Another great day down on the waterfront and there were 20 new faces on the start line tonight. There was a light northerly but it was not enough to keep the temperature down for the entrants on what was a very warm and sticky afternoon. The post race drinks were particularly welcome.



There were 21 personal bests recorded and a fast finish to watch with Bryn Davies the first runner home in 16:31 followed by Jason White 4 seconds behind. The first woman home was Piret Klade with a time of 19:10. The fastest walker tonight was Terri Grimmett with a time of 30:20 whilst for the men it was Geoff Iremonger who finished in 33:18.



A big thanks once again to Lifestyle sports and Chicago bar for their generous spot prizes and support.



Next week is the Christmas prize draw for those who have entered 3 of the 4 races up to and including the next weeks race.

Prizes include an IPOD nano touch from Noel Leemings or one of 3 organic spring Christmas lamb roasts from Wadestown Gourmet Butchery or some spectacular chocolates from Bohemian Chocolates.
