Mizuno � Shoe Clinic Twilight 5km Series 2002/3, Queen's Wharf Tuesday, 17 December 2002

Another damp day in the Capital for the 3rd event of the series. 79 participants took the opportunity to relieve any Christmas stress with a brisk tour of the waterfront. It provided a brief, but welcome, escape from the frenzied scrum of Christmas shoppers in Lambton Quay, and the finger food and polite conversation of endless Christmas functions. Matt Prosser seemed to want some piece and quiet more than anyone as he cleared out for a comfortable win in 16.33. Nick Warren (17.19) and Sean Butler (17.24) had a tighter battle for 2nd and 3rd. Dana Hastie was 1st woman, and 12th overall (18.45). Amelia De Lorenzo lead the walkers in 27.11.
