This event comprises two competitions: a schools competition and an individuals competition.
In the girls individuals competition, club member Susannah Lynch was 25th overall -- 2nd New Zealander. The New Zealand team finished 6th (four to count), behind England, Spain, Australia, Algeria and Turkey. In the boys competition, New Zealand was second, behind Australia. In the schools competition, Rangi Ruru was fourth in the girls, and New Plymouth High School was 11th in the boys.
