North Island Secondary School Champs held at Newtown Park on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 March.

Susannah Lynch ran brilliantly to get the double in the 800m and 1500m in the junior girls' races. She came 1st in the 800m (2.17) and 1st in the 1500m (4.49). Sophie Pepperell had an awesome race in the 1500m intermediate girls' race coming 4th in a PB of 4.52, the first Wellington girl home.
