Official results Fun/mass participation event open to non-registered competitors

A good field of 115 runners turned out on a day where the weather looked decidedly dodgy. The wind was up from the north and before the start there were occasional showers. This made things very humid and not the most conducive conditions for racing. On the upside however, it meant the foot traffic wasn't as bad as it has been recently.

Todd Stevens made it three in a row and kept up his consistent form with a time of 16:54 but it was a close race with gaps of four seconds to Cathal Reilly (16:58) and Michiel Kallenberg (17:02). The fastest women came from the early start this evening with Kate Grinlington completing the distance in 21:49. Rosi Zeise with 22:22 and Sarah Engelbrett (22:44) were the next two fastest. Fraser Samson with 33:34 was the fastest of the walkers home and Jacqueline Wilson with 33:50 led the women home.

Thanks to the Olympic Harriers team of Paula, Rebecca, Mike, Ele, Andrea, Rob, Graeme, Murray and Mark for officiating.
