Event results
Near perfect running conditions dawned on the day (overcast conditions with just a mild wind) in Palmerston North for the South Canterbury Finance Palmerston North Half Marathon. Olympic Harriers was represented by 2 club members on a new course for the event. The major change was an altered start/finish line meaning after the hill climb to the finish at Massey you then had to complete another 500 metres on the flat to finish.
Considering both of our Harriers had ran the Bays Relay the day before the times were pretty respectable (there had to be an excuse in there somewhere!).
