Race Report by Michelle Van Looy
The weather was near perfect, warm with a slight breeze. The starters for the 5000m included four Olympic Harrier athletes, coached by Club Coach, Mark Anderson; Ryan McKay, Mike Waterman, Michelle Van Looy and Sarah Bakker, plus Richard Martin. All will be competing in the Agency Group 10000m Festival, 13th November at Newtown Park.
This was Ryan's first ever 5k on the track , Mike's first track race in a decade, Sarah's first time EVER on a track.
Chris Speakman, Tommy White and Celena Gotigo competed in previous events.
