The Crater Rim race is an annual long distance trail run held on the Port Hills of Christchurch, with options over varying distances from 10km up to the Crater Run Ultra 52km.
This year the Ultra incorporates the inaugural Athletics New Zealand Trail Running championships, as well as the Oceania Trail Running Championships.
Club member Andrew Thompson won the Ultra from a field of 118, and so is New Zealand's first ever national trail running champion, and the Oceania champion. Well done Andrew!

Note sorting by time is alphabetic, not time based (so 1:00:00 comes after 0:50:00 because 1 comes after 0, but before 50:00 because 1 comes before 5).
