Great conditions saw another successful running of this annual event around the southern bays of Wellington.

The winner in a sharp time of 1:13:02, was Martin Yelling (2002 British Duathlon Champion) who was visiting from England with his partner Elizabeth Yelling (British 4th ranked 1/2 Marathoner, 25th place getter - Olympic Marathon, Athens 2004) who won the womens race in a fantastic 1:15:55. Both runners overcoming a class local field in the process.

The Walk event was won by Amelia De Lorenzo in 2:08:45 with Peter Baillie in 2:09:08 winning the mens walk.

The event was contested in great spirit and a good atmosphere prevailed.
