Summer run - last chance to be good before Santa comes 21 Dec 2016.
Pack run/walk, Clubrooms, Alex Moore Park, Sat 24 Dec, 1:45pm
Awesome run last week at Tineke's with BBQ and conversation to match! On Christmas Eve the plan is...
- Run/Walk wearing something “Christmas-y” (-: Tinsel, antlers - $2 Shop has heaps of options or steal something from your household Xmas tree – ho ho ho :-)
- Please bring a plate – with something on it - even just a packet of chippies goes down a treat, as we see most Saturdays – Countdown has heaps of options or steal something from your household pantry ho ho ho ;-)
- Bring Mel a present because she is very nice and kind and funny and lovely :-)
(Thanks to our guest writer this week who has asked to remain anonymous but will bring a big box for her presents.

It was Night of Miles last week at Newtown and a perfect night for stretching the legs and/or having a laugh. Michelle was there and reports "It was great to see the flag flying last night...literally and metaphorically. Jo Crawford made her debut in the 400m and the Elite woman's mile. Trent Corbett was awesome in the B mile and Richard, Caitlin and Barrie ran the all comers mile. There were some awesome juniors too....I think Jack Julian placed in the all comers....Anyway it was a fantastic opportunity to meet 3 Olympians too."
Tuesday training, Alex Moore, 6:30 pm
Well recommended for all ages, and Chris gets the balance of fun, performance, and a bit of pain spot on.

There are a couple of active Facebook pages associated with the club. If memory serves you need to be accepted to get access but that is not a big hassle. A variety of semi organised runs at different levels, encouragement for summer track athletes, and celebrations of current (and some past) performances all turn up regularly.
