Brendon Blacklaws - Bronze yr9 Boys 3k Road Race Three Olympic members competed at the Secondary Schools National Track and Field Championships, held at Surrey Park Invercargill over the weekend. Over 1000 athletes competed over the three days of competition. The event was notable for the cold and very windy conditions, with a bit of rain thrown in for good luck, and this was reflected in the times for the races. No one wanted to lead in these conditions.


Matt Prosser - Gold Senior Boys 800m Matt Prosser was the most successful winning the senior 800 meters. Brendon Blacklaws gained a third in the year 9 road race as well as making the finals in the 1500 meters. Martin Hay competed in the junior 1500 meters and the junior road race.
