Registrations for centenary weekend are now open 15 Apr 2014.

Our centenary weekend is now only seven weeks away, and registrations are now open.

Our online registration form allows you to register up to four people at one time. You can also order additional tickets for the Friday evening social function and the Saturday night dinner.

Every registrant receives a registration pack containing a number of products.

In addition you are able to order centenary memorabilia: specially printed coffee mugs, etched stemmed beer glasses, black centenary polo shirts, black centenary hooded sweatshirts and the centenary book.

Payment will be accepted either by internet banking to the Club bank account or by cheque posted to the Club.

Please remember that our special guest speaker at the Saturday night dinner is Dick Tayler, renowned NZ athlete and 1974 Commonwealth Games 10,000m winner.

Prices for the weekend are:
  • Registration: Cost = $20 per current or past member.
  • Friday 30 May: Evening social function at the Johnsonville Club, 1 Norman Lane (off Johnsonville Road), with historic exhibits and photos on display. Cost = $35 per head, which includes nibbles and two free drinks.
  • Saturday 1 June: Grand Memorial handicap cross country races, hopefully in Ohariu Valley (venue tbc), followed by a free afternoon tea at the Olympic Harrier clubrooms in Bannister Avenue, Johnsonville.
  • Saturday 1 June: The Centenary Dinner at Mac’s Brewery Function Centre, Taranaki Street Wharf. The guest speaker is Dick Tayler. Cost = $65 per head. Drinks will be available for purchase.
  • Sunday 2 June: Morning run from the clubrooms in Bannister Avenue, followed by a free brunch and the taking of photographs.
