Call for Submissions to Olympic Harrier Club Centenary Publication 17 Mar 2014.
This is a message from Murray McGaughran, the editor of our centenary publication which provide a written record of our first 100 years:
This is an open letter to invite both current and past members to make submissions to our centenary publication
I am particularly looking for anecdotes and stories you may have that will make interesting reading in the publication. My intention is to include a personal and human aspect to the book along with the factual and statistical content.
Small stories under the title 'Did you know ...' make good reading.
I would also like some short reports on overseas trips to running events, e.g marathon reports, the relays to North America, Round Raratonga etc,.
Reports of experiences of our NZ reps would be great reading too.
Of course there may be a need to edit some contributions due to space.
As I have deadlines to meet which include time to proof read copy, set up for layout of the book and printing, can anyone able to contribute please send your articles to reach me by Friday 11th April. Send a PDF file to me at murray.mcg@gmail.com.
