Kids Cross Country Series Results 12 Sep 2013.
The last race in the Kids Cross Country Series was held last Sunday at Mt Victoria. It was the last of four events which many of our Olympic kids have been taking part in over the past few months. Olympic hosted the second event in the series at Grenada North Park on a miserable day when 150 kids still turned up to run. On Sunday the weather was the other extreme - sunny and warm, and the course was completely different too. It was promoted as a Mini Mountain Run and it lived up to its title with many saying it was tougher than the Vosseler. But this seemed to suit many of the runners from our club.
Results from Sunday are also available. Olympic kids featured strongly throughout the series with many entering teams which was fantastic to see. We also did well with the Overall Series Awards for both individuals and teams where the best three placings counted towards final placings. Results for these awards are below:
