Kevin Pugh wins the 2011 trip to Senshu Marathon 15 Nov 2010.
Club member Kevin Pugh has been selected to represent Wellington City at the 2011 Senshu Marathon.
The marathon, held in Wellington's sister city in Japan, Sakai City, is in February. Kevin has flights and accommodation provided for the six day trip.
Kevin has run three marathons in the last thirteen months, including the Harbour Capital Marathon this year and the Auckland marathon both this year and last year. He was also Olympic's Marathon Cup winner in 2008 for his 2008 Gold Coast Marathon result.
The 2010 representative was Christine Jones of Scottish Harriers; in 2009 Olympic's Tim Horne took the trip. Other Olympic winners of the trip have been Max O'Kane (1996, the inaugural year) and Iain Westphall (1999).
