27th Wellington Intercollegiate Road Relays at Trentham Memorial Park on Wednesday 27th August 2003 2 Sep 2003.
This year because of safety considerations the annual relays were held on a new course at Trentham Memorial Park. The course took in the sealed pathways and despite the drizzly and coolish conditions the competitors did not lack for enthusiasm as the schools battled it out for line honours and fastest lap times in the various grades.
The event attracted 35 teams from 13 colleges, for a total of 182 competitors.
Wellington College completed a hat-trick in the boys events with Wellington Girls College winning the Senior Girls, Marsden College the Under 16 Girls, and Chilton St James School the 3rd Form Girls.

- 3rd Form Boys - 1st Brendon Blacklaws, 2nd Daniel Robertson
- Open Girls - R Blacklaws (member of 2nd placed Wellington Girls College team)
