Day 2 at the world mountain running champs 16 Sep 2002.

Jonathon Wyatt The senior men’s race was held on the second day of the champs in Innsbruck, Austria. While Saturday’s races were held in fine weather, the senior men ran in freezing rain.

Jonathon Wyatt regained his title with a margin of over three and a half minutes, proving he is truly in a class of his own. Other New Zealanders’ results: Callum Harland (52nd), Alistair Snowdon (57th), Patrick Meffan (71st), Paul Forster (76th), and club member Mike Wakelin (101st). The New Zealand team was 9th.
