An invitation from the organiser of the Milestone Mile event on Tuesday night 10 March 2009 at Petone:

Hi all,
I would like to extend an invitation to club members to compete in 
the Milestone Mile event on Tuesday night 10 March 2009-JACKSON STREET 
PETONE

This is the programme for the night and there are places available 
in all grades.

6.00 Under 10 Boys/Girls (half mile)
6.10 Under 12 Boys/Girls
6.20 Under 14 Boys/Girls
6.30 Fine Signs 4x400m relay to break Nick Willis best mile time (3.50.66)
6.40 Pak'N'Save Walking Mile Race (Men & Women)
6.50 Hutt City Council Mayoral Mile/Vets Mile
7.00 Lone Star Cafe & Bar Open Mens Mile (Wgtn V Hutt)
7.20 Milestone Mile Featuring Nick Willis 

The relay will be Under 15 (Boys & Girls) and would like to see at 
least six clubs compete in this event.
Places are limited, as is time, and even though it's not a first
in first served basis I'd like to have the races full at least a
week out as I may need to juggle timing etc. You can email to put 
your name foward.
If you are not a member of a club call me and we'll discuss it. 
Whether there will be prizes and certificates is still to be determined. 
12-18 per race.
The start/finish line is the corner of Jackson/Buick and the Petone 
Recreation ground will be available for warming up. Check in 
with officials at the start line at least 30mins before your start time.
Entry is free.

Nick Willis and the sponsors are excited by this event and wants to see 
as many people along on the night with the possibility of building this 
event up to something bigger in the future.
