Wellington Center Strategic Review 9 Jun 2008.
Following the presentation of a discussion paper at last year’s Center AGM, we have had a working party conducting a Strategic Review of the sport, and its management and structure in the Wellington Region.
We now want to invite everybody involved in the sport to a series of meetings at which we will present the working party’s findings and proposals. These meetings are NOT restricted to delegates and committees. We certainly hope that all Club officials will come, but we’d also like the coaches, officials and athletes (college age and upwards!)
It is hoped that we can involve the whole of the sport in our discussions!
(These meetings are not for specific clubs or groups. Please come to the one which suits you! We are just trying to bring our presentation as close to you as we can, to help involve you in discussion).
The meetings are scheduled for:
- Sunday 15 June, 12 noon, Sport Kapiti, Parata St, Waikanae
- Tuesday 17, June, 7.00 p.m., Hutt Valley Harrier Clubrooms, Petone Rec (Udy St)
- Wednesday 18 June, 7.00 p.m., Athletics Masterton, Sports Bowl Blair Street
- Thursday 19 June, 6.30 p.m., Porirua
- Wednesday 25 June, 7.00 p.m., Sport Wellington Region, Adelaide Road
