Matt Singleton and Samara Sheppard both placed 4th in their respective age grades at the national Mountain running Championships held at Black Birch Mountain near Blenheim yesterday afternoon.

This should be good enough for Matt to be chosen in the team for the world trophy in Turkey. Samara may have to wait and see how things turn out as a reserve perhaps (apparently they only choose the top 3 Junior women).

Great effort by both of you two anyway!!!
