5	6	7	8	9	10 Saturday, 10 Dec 2016: North Island Athletics Championships, Palmerston North × North Island Athletics Championships Saturday, 10 Dec 2016, 13:45 to 16:00: Club run - Makara West Wind farm, Makara West Wind farm × Over to Makara, head down towards the beach but soon after getting on the beach road veer left up the hill to the Wind Farm area. There are a bunch of loops from there of varying distances and difficulty... Short walk, just 1.5 km and not too challenging Beach loop of ~6 km, which has best part of 200 m vertical and a good stretch along the shingle beach Opau loop, 5.5 k of mixed forest and open track - good climb here too I'll bring a few maps so people can get the hang of things, or else you can have a good look at: http://tracks.org.nz/track/show/1288. 26	27	28	29	30	31 Saturday, 31 Dec 2016, 13:45 to 16:00: New Year's Eve club run, Annie's house × Pack run/walk, Annie's house, 53 Kanpur Rd, Broadmeadows, Sat 31 Dec, 1:45pm Lots of places to walk or run from Broadmeadows, with Khandallah Park just around the corner, or down into Khandallah itself and the Bridle trail, but be aware that the last bit home will be uphill! Bring a nibble and a drink if you would like to stay on after your efforts, no BBQ though. Thanks Annie!
