Event results
The Crater Rim Ultra introduced a new 'Ultra' distance this year – 83km, from the start in Chch City itself along the summit trails to the Banks Peninsula high point behind Diamond Harbour (Mt Herbert) and back. Simon competed in this event and finished sixth overall.
(The 53km Crater Rim event is the ANZ Trail Running champs.)
